Cambodia-Vietnam Exchange Programme Opens

A delegation from the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association visited the southern province of Dong Nai, Vietnam on Aug. 1 to attend an exchange program between the two peoples in the locality, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

The delegation to the third Cambodia-Vietnam people cooperation and friendship meeting program, due to kick off on Aug. 2, is led by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An, who is also President of the association.

The program is an event of significance, affirming the fine neighborliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, said VNA.

As part of the programme from Aug. 1-6, a host of activities will take place such as the visits to the Tran Bien Literature Temple in Dong Nai province, the Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, and Landmark 314, the final numerical marker on the Vietnam-Cambodia land border route in the Vietnamese southern province of Kien Giang, it added.

In addition, arts performance exchanges and talks will be held, said VNA.
