Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet Praises PSE Organisation for Human Resource Training
AKP Phnom Penh, July 02, 2026 --
Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has highly praised the PSE organisation's significant achievements, which have greatly benefited the nation by supporting Cambodian children and youth.
He made the remarks during the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE), a French NGO in Cambodia, and its graduation ceremony for the academic years 2021-2024 held here on July 2.
Samdech Thipadei recalled and expressed gratitude to Mr. Christian des Pallières, founder of PSE, who passed away 10 years ago, citing that strong foundation, far-sighted vision, clear mission, and righteous values have continued to lead the organisation smoothly.
To date, approximately 8,000 people have graduated from the PSE and received employment opportunities.
During the ceremony, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet took the opportunity to completely reject the allegations that the Royal Government of Cambodia restricted the freedom of civil society organisations.
"The Royal Government of Cambodia has never restricted the rights of civil society. On the contrary, civil society organisations that truly work and truly serve the interests of the people, such as PSE, always receive strong support, encouragement, and cooperation from the Royal Government,” he said.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his deep gratitude to all ministries, institutions, local authorities, all sponsors, and especially parents and guardians who have created conditions and provided opportunities for their children to study.
He also tasked the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to continue working closely with PSE to jointly train more Cambodian human resources to meet the needs of the national society.
