AKP Phnom Penh, May 26, 2026 -- More than 20,000 job vacancies are currently available in Phnom Penh capital for Cambodian migrant workers returning from Thailand as well as local job seekers, Cambodia's Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training said.
 
According to official data released by the Ministry, a total of 26,462 positions were available in the capital city as of May 24, primarily spanning the industrial and service sectors.
 
The employment drive is part of the Royal Government’s efforts to reintegrate returning labourers into the domestic workforce and support local job seekers.
 
The Ministry stated that interested applicants can access detailed information, including factory names, industry sectors, and direct contact numbers, through promotional leaflets distributed by authorities.
 
Additionally, the Ministry has set up a dedicated hotline at 1297 to assist returning workers and general job seekers in securing placements and coordinating directly with employers and enterprises, officials said.
