AKP Phnom Penh, May 26, 2026 --

Cambodia’s national junior finswimming team won a total of 16 medals, including 15 gold medals and one silver medal, at the 2nd International Bunga Raya Children & Junior Finswimming Competition – Leg 1 2026 held in Ipoh, Perak State, Malaysia, on May 23.

Female swimmer Houn Tithdalin secured four gold medals in the 50m and 100m Bi-Fins events, as well as the 50m and 100m Surface events.

Female athlete Lim Sokkunthakpor earned two gold medals in the 50m and 100m Bi-Fins categories.

Male swimmer Lim Sokvearaksak won four gold medals in the 50m and 100m Bi-Fins events and the 50m and 100m Surface events.

Another Cambodian athlete, Lim Neakreakvitou, claimed four gold medals in the 50m AP, 50m Bi-Fins, and 50m and 100m Surface events, in addition to one silver medal in the 100m Bi-Fins event.The Cambodian team also captured one gold medal in the 4x50m Mixed SB Relay event through the joint performance of Lim Sokvearaksak, Lim Neakreakvitou, Lim Sokkunthakpor, and Houn Tithdalin.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this morning extended his congratulations to the national junior finswimming team on their achievement which reflects the growing strength and potential of Cambodia’s finswimming athletes on the international stage.
