Cambodia to Boost Cooperation with Czech Republic and Germany
AKP Phnom Penh, April 27, 2026 --
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn, held a bilateral meeting with his Czech counterpart H.E. Petr Macinka, in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam on April 27, on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the two Foreign Ministers valued their longstanding relations of friendship and cooperation in key areas of mutual interest and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister conveyed his deep gratitude to the Czech Republic for its continued official development assistance (ODA) in support of Cambodia’s socio-economic development.
On the same day, the Cambodian top diplomat also met with H.E. Florian Hahn, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The meeting highlighted the close relations and strong cooperation between the two countries across areas of mutual interest, and reiterated common commitment to further fostering bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
During the meetings, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister also provided an update on recent developments regarding the Cambodia-Thailand border situation.
