Prime Minister Praises Interior Ministry for Responsible Service

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has praised and highly commended the leadership and officials of the Ministry of Interior for carrying out their duties with responsibility and effectiveness in implementing the Royal Government’s policies.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Interior’s annual meeting on Thursday afternoon, the Premier expressed appreciation for civil servants, national police officers, prison officials, as well as leaders and officials of provincial, municipal, district, and commune administrations nationwide for their collective contributions to governance and public service delivery.
Samdech Thipadei stressed the need to further strengthen strict law enforcement against pressing social crimes, particularly online scams, traffic violations, drug-related offensces, gang violence, and human trafficking. He underscored a firm commitment to eradicating criminal activity, stating that all negative practices must be removed to restore what is beneficial for the nation and its people.
The Prime Minister also warned that strict measures would be taken, without exception, against any officials found involved in criminal activities, especially cyber-related fraud.
In addition, Samdech Thipadei provided key policy guidance, including continued assistance to displaced citizens, the delivery of civil registration and identification services, strengthening human resource development, advancing institutional modernisation in line with digital transformation, improving the quality of public services, and continuing the implementation of the “Safe Village-Commune” policy.
These priorities aim to ensure the successful implementation of the Ministry of Interior’s 2026 work agenda.
