Cambodia Tax Forum 2026 Strengthens Compliance

The Cambodia Tax Forum 2026 was held on Feb. 5 to enhance tax compliance to continue developing Cambodia's economy through raising challenges and suggestions seeking for solution to improve service delivery and the efficiency of tax system management.
The forum was held at the General Department of Taxation (GDT) Tower under the presidency of H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, and ministers from relevant ministries and institutions, as well as Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Private Sector Working Group for the Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF).
The event was attended by senior officials from relevant ministries and institutions, leaders and members of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, leaders of private sector working groups, representatives of companies and enterprises, and many national and international guests.
The tax forum aimed to enhance tax compliance to continue developing Cambodia's economy by disseminating information on tax obligations, progress on tax management system transformation, and by receiving suggestions on various challenges in fulfilling obligations to improve service delivery and the efficiency of tax system management.
The Cambodia Tax Forum, held annually, is considered an important forum for strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors and increasing transparency and efficiency in Cambodia's tax system.
