Angkor Archaeological Park Generates Over US$40 Million in Revenue in First 11 Months

Revenue from ticket sales at the Angkor Archaeological Park surpassed US$40 million in the first eleven months of 2025, Angkor Enterprise, the agency responsible for managing entrance pass sales. announced in a financial report Monday.
Official data shows that from January through November 2025, the UNESCO World Heritage site welcomed 867,195 international visitors, generating US$40.48 million in ticket revenue. The figures mark an approximate 3 percent decrease in both visitor volume and revenue compared to the same period in 2024.
The report highlighted a downturn in November, with foreign visitor numbers falling to 101,677, an 18 percent drop from November 2024. Revenue for the month totaled US$4.9 million, a decline of over 17 percent year-on-year.
The Angkor Archaeological Park, home to the iconic Angkor Wat and hundreds of other ancient structures, remains one of the world’s most significant cultural landmarks, drawing millions of global travelers each year.
