Cambodian PM Sends Congratulatory Message to Vietnamese Counterpart on Independence Day of Viet Nam

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended his congratulations to the Government and the people of Viet Nam, on the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
“As the 2nd of September is approaching, the people of Viet Nam are filled with joy and pride, while honoring the brave heroes whose sacrifices laid the foundation for the nation's independence and whose legacy continues to inspire generations,” Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet wrote in his congratulatory message to his Vietnamese counterpart H.E. Le Minh Hung AKP received this morning.
Building on this legacy, he continued, Viet Nam, under the visionary leadership of the Communist Party, has made remarkable progress in recent decades. With economic growth exceeding 8 percent last year, Viet Nam is well on track to realise its two centenary goals: becoming an industrialised country by 2030 and a high-income, socialist nation by 2045.
Samdech Thipadei also spoke highly of the bilateral relationship between Cambodia and Viet Nam, stressing that over the past years, both countries have cultivated enduring ties, rooted in good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability. Their bilateral cooperation has continued to expand across diverse fields, delivering tangible benefits to both nations.
“It is my sincere desire to work closely with Your Excellency to further deepen our partnership and advance regional peace, stability, and prosperity, while looking forward to welcoming Your Excellency and Madam to Cambodia next month,” he concluded.
