Cambodian NA President Extends Condolences and Sympathies over Current Natural Disasters in Indonesia

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a condolence message to her Indonesian counterpart over the loss of lives due to floods and landslides in Sumatra.
“I am deeply grieved by the news about the current natural disasters of severe flooding and landslides in Indonesia's Sumatra which caused the loss of lives, the displacement of thousands of families, many injured and missing as well as enormous devastation of properties,” Samdech Khuon Sudary wrote in a message dated Dec. 1 to Honourable Puan Maharani, Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on her own, Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families for the loss of their loved ones and the victims of the families severely affected by this natural disaster.
“While standing in solidarity with the Indonesian people and government during this difficult time, I wish all the victims and affected communities a swift recovery and resumption of normal life,” she added.
