Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, on the occasion of the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea.

“On behalf of the legislative and executive bodies, especially the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to you, the National Assembly, and the friendly people of the Republic of Korea on the momentous occasion of the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea,” reads the message dated Oct. 3.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his delight to note the progress and development of the Republic of Korea in all areas, which has contributed significantly to promoting regional and global development, stability and peace, especially through its role as a global leader in science, digital, technology, and innovation. He strongly believes that the Republic of Korea will continue to thrive and help fuel the global development and cooperation.

“Since the re-establishment of diplomatic relations in 1997, our close cooperation in multiple areas has grown steadily, culminating in the elevation of our ties to a Strategic Partnership, a historic milestone that reflects our shared vision for peace and prosperity. I am confident that under your leadership, our parliamentary cooperation will continue to deepen, bringing mutual benefits to our peoples and nations and contributing to regional peace and stability,” he underlined. 

The Acting Head of State concluded his message with his best wishes for H.E. Woo Won-shik’s good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Republic of Korea.
