AKP Phnom Penh, October 01, 2025 -- His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has extended his warmest congratulations to H.E. XI JINPING, President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), on the occasion of the PRC’s 76th Founding Anniversary (Oct. 1). 

“On the auspicious celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, I have the distinct honour to join Her Majesty Queen Mother NORODOM MONINEATH SIHANOUK, the Royal Family and the people of Cambodia in conveying our most sincere greetings and heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency and through Your Excellency, to the Communist Party, the State Council, the People's Liberation Army and the great people of China,” the monarch wrote in a royal letter AKP received this afternoon. 

This year's historic commemoration, highlighted by the grand military parade in Beijing on 3rd September 2025, stands as a resounding testimony to China's remarkable achievements in modernisation, national defence, technological innovation and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, His Majesty the King stated, underlining that it was for him a profound privilege to attend, for the second time, in witnessing such a momentous celebration, alongside world leaders, on Tiananmen Square. The solemnity of the parade and the display of discipline, unity and strength deeply reflected the enduring spirit of the Chinese nation and its unwavering commitment to peace, security, stability and prosperity.

On this solemn anniversary, he continued, the Kingdom of Cambodia takes great pride in its long-standing, iron-clad friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperation with the People's Republic of China, which have continued to flourish through mutual trust, solidarity and shared aspirations for peace and development. “I remain confident that, under Your Excellency's wise leadership, our "all-weather community with a shared future" will be further strengthened, bringing renewed prosperity to our two peoples and contributing to regional and global harmony,” he stressed.
