Cambodian Acting Head of State, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 76th Founding Anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

“On behalf of the legislative and executive bodies and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Cambodian People's Party, and my own behalf, it is my great honour to convey my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency, the Communist Party of China (CPC), the government, and the people of China, on the auspicious occasion of the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC),” he wrote in his messaged dated Aug. 26.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also commended China's great success in realising the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, while steadily advancing toward the second centenary goal by 2049 under the visionary leadership of the CPC and H.E. Xi Jinping. “This historic accomplishment has not only immensely improved the well-being of the Chinese people, but also contributed significantly to enduring peace, stability, and prosperity on the continent and beyond,” he underlined. 

Samdech Techo Hun Sen added that Cambodia always values the iron-clad friendship and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation with China, which continues to thrive in all dimensions. He recalled H.E. Xi Jinping’s successful state visit to Cambodia in April this year, which marked an important milestone in both countries’ bilateral relations, further cementing their unbreakable bonds and advancing the building of an all-weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Era for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.

“I would like to reaffirm my strong commitment to working closely with you to further deepen the enduring friendship and cooperation between our two peoples, nations, and parties,” he stressed.
