“I would like to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to the frontline soldiers and border police who have left their families and homelands to serve and defend the motherland on all front lines,” the Premier said in a special message released this morning.
He underlined that thanks to the invaluable heroism of the soldiers and police, Cambodian people across the country are able to celebrate the Pchum Ben Festival in peace.
On this occasion, Samdech Thipadei also conveyed his best wishes to all Cambodians from all walks of life for safe travels to their hometowns, as well as good health, strength, longevity, and success in their endeavors.
Pchum Ben, one of Cambodia’s most important traditional festivals, is a time for families to reunite, perform religious rites, and honour their ancestors. This year, the festival is being observed from Sept. 21 to 23.
