Over 84 Percent of Grade 12 Students Pass Baccalaureate Exams

A total of 122,473 students, or 84.56 percent of candidates who sat for the Grade 12 national examinations on Aug. 28-29, 2025, have passed their baccalaureate exams, according to a press release from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) issued on Sept. 19.
Among the successful students, 3,003 earned Grade A; 9,901 received Grade B; 28,801 Grade C; 45,859 Grade D; and 34,909 Grade E, the source pointed out.
The MoEYS confirmed that the official results will be posted tomorrow at all exam centres nationwide.
In 2024, the overall success rate stood at 79 percent. That year, 1,673 students achieved Grade A; 6,964 Grade B; 18,303 Grade C; 34,246 Grade D; and 37,269 Grade E.
The national Grade 12 examination is a prerequisite for high school graduates to pursue studies at the university level.
