Cambodian Acting Head of State Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has inspired all Cambodian fellow citizens, particularly the younger generation to pay high attention to their education and technological capacity building.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen made the inspiration this morning via his official Facebook page on the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of International Literacy Day (Sept. 8, 2025) with a theme of "Promoting Literacy in the Digital Era," an occasion to recall and disseminate the significance of education and reading.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen underscored the key role of technology at present in people's daily lives, adding digital literacy has crucially become an indispensable tool for living and self-development in the new social era.

"Being able to know how to use technological instruments and comprehend online information is not only a modern skill, but also a necessary requirement to get education, employment, and participation in social activities," cited Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

Accordingly, individual families and schools are motivated to promote both traditional and digital reading skill to cultivate their respective critical thinking skills, consideration, and in-depth analysis. 

"Keep learning and non-stop self-development to become valuable human resources and contribute to strengthening and expanding well-educated society," stressed Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
