The 4th Cambodia-New Zealand FMCs to be Held in Siem Reap Province Next Year

The fourth Foreign Ministries’ Consultations (4th FMCs) between Cambodia and New Zealand is set to be held in Siem Reap cultural province next year.
The schedule was agreed upon during the 3rd FMCs, co-chaired by H.E. Dr. Un Kheang, Secretary of State of Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and H.E. Ms. Joanna Kempkers, Divisional Manager of South and South East Asia of New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), in Wellington, New Zealand, late last week, according to the MFAIC.
During the Meeting, the two sides expressed satisfaction with the positive development of bilateral relations, and reaffirmed their commitments to further strengthening existing cooperation and exploring new areas for collaboration to promote mutual benefit.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern and interest.
Prior to the 3rd FMCs, H.E. Dr. Un Kheang had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Tahamoana (Taha) Macpherson, Deputy Chief Executive of New Zealand’s MFAT, to discuss ways to strengthen priority cooperation and explore potential areas for future cooperation.
