AKP Phnom Penh, July 17, 2025––

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni (R, Pic. 1), King of Cambodia, greets Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet who leads a government delegation to report to His Majesty the King the successful listing of “Cambodian Memorial Sites” as a World Heritage Site, at the Royal Palace here this morning.

The inscription recognises key sites associated with the Khmer Rouge regime, including the Former M-13 Prison (at the border between Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Speu provinces), the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (Phnom Penh), and the Choeung Ek Genocidal Centre (Phnom Penh).
