Some 527,577 Foreign Tourists Visit Angkor Archaeological Park in January-May Period

Some 527,577 foreign tourists visited the famed Angkor Archaeological Park between January and May this year, up 11.7 percent compared to the same period in 2024, a report from the state-owned Angkor Enterprise showed on Monday.
The Angkor Archaeological Park generated about US$24.5 million from ticket sales in the first five months of 2025, a year-on-year increase by 10.6 percent compared to the same period last year, the source pointed out.
In May alone, the ancient site received 52,767 foreign tourists, generating US$2.36 million in revenue, up 3.7 percent and 3.1 percent, respectively compared to the same month last year, the report stated.
Situated in northwest Siem Reap province, the 401-square-kilometre Angkor Archaeological Park, the Kingdom’s most popular tourist destination, is home to 91 ancient temples built between the 9th and 13th centuries.
The entrance fee for a one-day visit to the park is US$37, a three-day visit costs US$62, and a week-long visit is US$72.
The Royal Government has formed the Cambodia Tourism Marketing and Promotion Board, composed of representatives from the public and private sectors, to promote Cambodia’s tourism to the international markets.
