Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA), has spoken highly of the sacrifice of the medical practitioners and other concerned parties in containing and preventing the COVID-19 spread. 

“Thanks for the priceless contribution of the medical team and other concerned parties in the fight against COVID-19,” wrote the NA president in a Facebook post this afternoon.

“On behalf of the NA, I would like to praise and highly appreciate the efforts of the medical team, competent authorities, and other stakeholders in combatting this deadly disease which has been affecting the people’s well-being and our socio-economic development,” he added.  Samdech Heng Samrin also took the opportunity to re-appeal to his compatriots to continue respecting the laws and health safety rules set forth by the Royal Government to prevent the COVID-19 spread.
