AKP Phnom Penh, February 11, 2021 --

The Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) is willing to cooperate with Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.

SNV organisation expressed its intention in a meeting here on Feb. 10 with Cambodian Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal.

H.E. Minister welcomed the intention and suggested SNV to assist in forest protection, especially in enhancing community living standard through growing industrial tree species such as Acacia.

In the meeting, SNV also raised the water management project aiming at providing communities access to water for their consumption and cultivation, and green energy project focusing on reforestation.
