The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Seeks Support from Transport Minister to Its Humanitarian Activities

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has sought support from Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport H.E. Sun Chanthol to its humanitarian activities.
In a meeting with H.E. Senior Minister here yesterday, a delegation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints briefed him on main achievements in health care promotion in different districts of Cambodia such Lovea Em, Ksach Kandal, Tonle Bati, Stung Trang, Chamkar Leu, Batheay, Prey Chhor, Kampong Siem, Koh Sotin, and so on.
They also revealed their plan to assist people in Koh Thom district on primary health care, emergency aid, clean water, sanitation and education, particularly enhancement of health care.
H.E. Sun Chantol informed his guests about the development of Koh Thom district in terms of physical infrastructure, highlighting the efforts of the Royal Government in developing all sectors through national reconciliation, national unity, peace, political stability, and macroeconomic stability, the indispensable factors for economic growth and sustainable development.
He thanked The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for its contribution to poverty alleviation in Cambodia.
The delegation will visit Koh Thom district next weekend at the invitation of H.E. Senior Minister to understand the real needs of the local residents.
