“Made in Siem Reap” Successfully Concluded

Handicraft Production Fair dubbed as “Made in Siem Reap” from Jan. 30 to 31 at 313 Quayside here in Phnom Penh was successfully concluded.
The event was presided over by H.E. Ms. Tekreth Kamrong, Secretary of State of Ministry of Commerce, H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, and also Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and H.E. Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh, Ambassador of France to Cambodia.
H.E. Ms. Tekreth Kamrong thanked the Beyond Retail Business, supported by the French Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, for the initiative contributing essentially to promoting the diversification of domestic products.
She added that it is very well aligned with the Rectangular Strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia to boost public private partnership in the country.
Participated by some 200 businesspeople and visitors, the event allowed the showcasing of the tendency of the current market of the products, the value of design, product development for more added values.
The secretary of state also encouraged Cambodian entrepreneurs to hunt for more innovation and creativity of their products to meet market demands.
