Cambodian National Assembly President Congratulates Singapore on 61st National Day

President of the National Assembly of Cambodia Samdech Maha Rathsapheathikathipadei Khuon Sudary on Friday extended congratulations and best wishes to Singapore on the occasion of the country’s 61st National Day, reaffirming Cambodia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral and parliamentary cooperation.
In a congratulatory letter addressed to H.E. Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, Samdech Khuon Sudary conveyed her warmest congratulations on behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodian people ahead of Singapore’s National Day on Aug. 9.
She noted that the longstanding ties between Cambodia and Singapore have been steadily enhanced and carefully nurtured on the basis of mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual trust and mutual interest.
The National Assembly President highlighted that people-centred comprehensive cooperation between the two countries has continued to expand across various sectors, including the economy, security, people-to-people relations and cultural exchanges.
Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed confidence that the existing close relationship, particularly between the legislatures of the two countries, would continue to flourish for the mutual benefit of the Cambodian and Singaporean peoples.
