Cambodia Advances to SEA V-Cup Final after Defeating Thailand
AKP Phnom Penh, July 18, 2026 --
Cambodia’s men’s national volleyball team has advanced to the final of the 6th SEA V-Cup after defeating Thailand in the semi-finals of the regional tournament being held in the Philippines from July 15 to 19.
Cambodia secured a 3-1 victory (25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-17) over Thailand in Saturday afternoon’s semi-final, according to the Volleyball Federation of Cambodia.
The Kingdom will face defending champion Indonesia in the final on July 19 at Candon City Arena.
The result marks another milestone for Cambodian volleyball and reflects the country’s continued progress in developing its sporting capacity. In the 2025 edition, Cambodia finished fifth, while Indonesia claimed the title.
Formerly known as the SEA V-League, the regional tournament has been renamed the SEA V-Cup beginning with this year’s edition.
