First-Ever Direct Charter Flights from Prague to Cambodia to Launch This Winter
AKP Phnom Penh, July 03, 2026 --
Direct charter flights connecting Prague, Czech Republic, and Cambodia will begin operating for the first time this holiday season, opening a new gateway to the Kingdom’s coastal tourism destinations.
The new route will link Prague with Sihanoukville in Preah Sihanouk province, bringing hundreds of Czech tourists to Cambodia each week.
“Hundreds of Czech tourists are expected to come every week to the Cambodian coast as two Czech travel agencies started offering travel packages with direct flights from Prague to Sihanoukville,” the Czech Embassy in Phnom Penh said in a Facebook post on July 3.
The weekly charter service will be operated by TUI Airways from Dec. 19, 2026, to Apr. 3, 2027, using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with a capacity of 305 passengers.
Sihanoukville, located about 185 kilometres southwest of Phnom Penh, serves as Cambodia’s main coastal gateway and is surrounded by numerous tropical islands known for their white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and relaxed atmosphere.
Czech visitors will be able to stay in Sihanoukville or travel to nearby islands, including Koh Rong, Koh Rong Sanloem, and Koh Russey, all of which are accessible by speedboat in about an hour.
