AKP Phnom Penh, July 02, 2026 -- Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP), has extended congratulations to H.E. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on the occasion of the party’s 105th founding anniversary.

In a congratulatory message released to the public this afternoon, Samdech Techo conveyed his warmest wishes to H.E. Xi, the CPC, and the people of the People's Republic of China (PRC), praising the party's achievements and leadership over the past century.

Samdech Techo highly commended the CPC's new model of party-to-party relationships through enhancing mutual respect, mutual learning and mutual trust among countries, political parties and peoples to strive for global peace and prosperity. He noted that under the CPC's leadership, the PRC has been playing an increasingly constructive role in promoting peace and dialogue in regional and international affairs.

He welcomed the CPC's Path of Peaceful Development and highly valued President Xi's global initiatives, including the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Global Security Initiative (GSI), and the Global Civilisation Initiative (GCI), describing them as constructive contributions to addressing common global challenges and building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Samdech Techo also congratulated China on its impressive implementation of its 14th Five-Year Plan (2020–2025) and expressed confidence that, under the wise and brilliant leadership of the CPC and President Xi, the country would successfully implement the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) in order to move toward achieving the Second Centenary Goal of building a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious by 2049.

He further highly valued the long-standing friendship between the two parties and two countries reaffirming the ironclad friendship and shared vision of building an All-Weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Area which elevated bilateral relations to a new height.

Samdech Techo concluded by wishing H.E. Xi continued good health, happiness, and success in his leadership responsibilities.
