AKP Phnom Penh, May 12, 2026—

National Assembly (NA) holds here at the NA Palace this morning an extraordinary session of the 7th legislature under the chairmanship of its President Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, with the participation of 114 lawmakers.

The parliamentary session will examine and approve two agenda items: the draft law on military service, and the draft law on the approval of the payment guarantee provided by the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia to a Vietnamese company for the purchase of electricity from Vietnam.
