His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has praised the bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Russia over the past 70 years.

“The relationship between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation has endured for seven decades, during which Cambodia has remained grateful for the extensive support and assistance extended by Russia,” the monarch wrote in a​ recent congratulatory message to H.E Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between both nations.

Through the years, His Majesty noted, the bilateral cooperation has continued to expand steadily across a wide range of fields for mutual benefit. This remarkable progress is underpinned by the enduring political trust and mutual support, and shared understanding between the two countries.

His Majesty expressed his confidence that the friendship and cooperation so happily existing between Cambodia and Russia will continue to deepen and strengthen, bringing further mutual benefit to the two peoples in the coming years.

His Majesty the King concluded his message with best wishes for happiness and prosperity to H.E. Vladimir Putin and the friendly people of Russia.
