Emirates Resumes Flights Between Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates

Emirates resumed its daily flights between Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on May 1, with a stopover in Singapore.
This flight resumption was shared in a recent press release from the airline, which also specified that the three weekly flights connecting the cultural province of Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor temples, to Dubai via Bangkok have also resumed.
Emirates currently serves 137 destinations in 72 countries, with more than 1,300 weekly flights. The airline continues to gradually increase its flight, seat, and destination offerings, further solidifying Dubai's role as a major global air transport hub.
In 2025, Cambodia recorded 6.98 million air passengers, a 12 percent increase compared to 2024. The total number of aircraft movements reached 64,821, up 11 percent, while air freight increased by 21 percent to 93,889 tonnes.
Cambodia is currently served by 36 airlines, including four domestic and 32 foreign carriers, offering direct flights to 52 destinations in 18 countries, according to the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.
Of these destinations, eight are located in ASEAN, while the others include mainland China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Turkey.
