AKP Phnom Penh, May 07, 2026—

H.E. Vath Chamroeun (Pic. 1), Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), holds a press conference in Phnom Penh this morning on the 11th Angkor Empire Marathon, scheduled to take place on Aug. 2, 2026, in the Angkor area of Siem Reap province. 

Up to now, nearly 5,000 national and international runners have registered to compete in the annual sport event.
