15th Cambodia International Film Festival to Showcase 150 Films from 40 Countries
AKP Phnom Penh, March 13, 2026 -- The 15th Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) will take place in Phnom Penh from Mar. 24 to 29, 2026, featuring 150 films from 40 countries, organisers announced.
The announcement was made during a press conference held in Phnom Penh on Mar. 12.
The event was attended by H.E. Ek Buntha, Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ambassadors of Canada and Australia, representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD), the UNESCO Representative in Cambodia, as well as artists, producers, and numerous national and international journalists.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the festival will showcase a diverse selection of films from around the world, including around 60 Cambodian productions, highlighting the country’s growing film industry while promoting dialogue and cultural exchange through cinema.
This year’s festival will also feature three special programmes: Tribute to Uong Kan Thouk, Mondes Francophones, and “Seeds of Peace: Lessons from the Past”.
The annual Cambodia International Film Festival aims to celebrate cinematic creativity, encourage artistic collaboration, and strengthen cultural exchange between Cambodia and the international film community.
