The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia have stressed the importance of further strengthening their bilateral relations and cooperation, during the Second Political Consultations between their Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting, held in Phnom Penh last week, was co-chaired by H.E. Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State at the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and H.E. Mnatsakan Safaryan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
According to a press release issued this morning by the MFAIC, both sides expressed satisfaction with the friendships fostered between the two nations, and further noted that 2027 will mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This is an important milestone reflecting more than three decades of friendship, mutual respect, understanding and shared values.
