CMAC Discovers 120 Unexploded Cluster Munitions Left by Thai Invading Forces in Banteay Meanchey Province

Demining experts of Mine Clearance Unit No. 1 of the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) this afternoon brief members of the press on locations affected by artillery shells and aerially delivered ordnance, including cluster munitions used by Thai forces, in civilian areas of Cambodia located in O’Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province.
Preliminary findings indicate that CMAC has discovered 120 unexploded cluster bomblets, left behind by Thai invading troops, across areas within Banteay Meanchey province.
