Cambodia to Hold 4th National Science, Technology and Innovation Day in March
AKP Phnom Penh, February 01, 2026 —
The 4th National Day of Science, Technology and Innovation 2026 (STI Day 2026) will be held from Mar. 26 to 28 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.
According to a recent announcement of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), the opening ceremony will be presided over by H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, representing Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Held under the theme “Innovation for National Advancement,” the three-day national event aims to raise public awareness of Cambodia’s achievements, progress, and long-term vision in science, technology, and innovation, in support of socio-economic development aligned with the Royal Government’s policy direction.
STI Day 2026 will feature six main programmes, including a Science, Technology and Innovation Exhibition, STI talk shows, innovation activities, the Sci-Cup Competition 2026, the Outstanding Cambodian Scientists Awards, and the Public Sector Innovation Awards.
MISTI has invited senior government leaders, business representatives, researchers, scientists, innovators, students, and members of the public to attend the event. The Ministry also encourages companies in sectors such as technology, food processing, energy, manufacturing, machinery and components, digital solutions, and financial services to participate in the exhibition and explore opportunities for innovation-driven growth and collaboration.
