AKP Phnom Penh, January 16, 2026 -- H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information of Cambodia, held a farewell meeting on Friday afternoon with 32 Cambodian students awarded New Zealand Government scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

During the session held at the Ministry of Information, H.E. Neth Pheaktra offered recommendations and guidance to the departing students. He encouraged them to deeply engage with their studies and to actively promote Cambodian culture, heritage, and national development progress abroad. 

This initiative aims to foster a clearer and broader international understanding of Cambodia.

The New Zealand scholarship programme represents a continued commitment to educational cooperation and human resource development between the two nations.
