Digital Ecosystem Architecture Framework Set to Drive Smart Governance and Sustainable Development
AKP Phnom Penh, January 08, 2026 --
The Royal Government of Cambodia has launched the Digital Ecosystem Architecture Framework for Public Investment Project Management within the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) through a decentralised digital ecosystem, designed to efficiently propel the digital revolution.
The 47-page of the ‘MEF Digital Ecosystem Architecture Framework for Public Investment Project Management’ developed by the General Department of Digital Economy was published publicly on Jan. 8.
Divided into three layers such as the system functions, digital ecosystem, and information technology architecture framework, the framework was established to provide strategic orientation and an architectural blueprint as a guide for developing a digital ecosystem aimed at supporting the efficient and effective management of public investment projects in Cambodia.
The Digital Ecosystem Architecture Framework for Public Investment Project Management will provide a roadmap for building a robust and highly efficient public investment project data management system in Cambodia.
It ensures efficient data flow between units or institutions, consistent and shared data availability, full interoperability between systems, and will contribute to paving the way for smart governance and sustainable development.
