The newly constructed Senate building will soon be officially inaugurated under the royal presidency of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath, King of Cambodia.

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, conducted an inspection visit to the new building this morning, following a farewell courtesy call by H.E. Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia.

Construction of the new Senate building began on Aug. 9, 2024, and is expected to be fully completed by the end of this month.

The four-storey building, measuring 79 by 47 square metres, was constructed within the Senate compound.
