Cambodian Red Cross Leader Visits Wounded Troops in Siem Reap

The Permanent Vice-President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) visited wounded soldiers in Siem Reap city on Sunday, signaling high-level government support following recent hostilities along the country’s borders.
Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, acting on behalf of CRC President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, delivered humanitarian aid and financial assistance to troops and civilians at the Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital. The visit comes in the wake of fighting described by officials as an effort to defend "territorial integrity”.
Dr. Pich Chanmony, the wife of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, conveyed messages of support from the Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, CRC President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet, while urging medical staff to prioritise the recovery of those injured on the front lines.
The mission highlights the prominent role of the Cambodian Red Cross in providing a domestic safety net and maintaining morale during periods of military tension.
