Cambodia Reaffirms Commitment to Frontline Troops and Families
AKP Phnom Penh, December 27, 2025 --
The Royal Government of Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting frontline soldiers and their families, emphasising the state’s duty to those serving in the nation's armed forces.
Cambodia’s First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony told a gathering of military families at the Koh Pich Theatre in Phnom Penh this morning that the welfare of personnel defending the country remains a top policy priority.
"The Royal Government of Cambodia remains fully committed to providing comprehensive support to frontline soldiers and their families," she said.
During the event, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony distributed relief packages intended to offset daily living costs. She also conveyed messages of support from Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
The First Lady extended gratitude to domestic and international donors for their humanitarian contributions, citing the importance of national unity under the principle of "Khmer helping Khmer."
