Cambodia’s Senior Minister H.E. Kitti Sangahapundit Kun Kim visited displacement sites in Banteay Meanchey province on Monday, calling for the "timely delivery" of aid to civilians fleeing recent fighting along the border.

H.E. Kun Kim, who serves as First Vice-President of the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM), inspected safety centres to assess ground needs and coordinate relief logistics.

"The Royal Government remains committed to ensuring that no citizen is left without food, shelter, or basic services during this crisis," H.E. Kun Kim told displaced families, noting that Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet had ordered all ministries to mobilise maximum resources.

The visit comes as authorities roll out new mobile shelters designed to protect displaced families from wind and rain. H.E. Kun Kim urged provincial officials to tighten oversight of food and water distribution to ensure all centres are covered.

He attributed the steady flow of emergency supplies to contributions from top leadership—including Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen; Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen; Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and the First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony—as well as private donors.

H.E. Kun Kim is scheduled to visit safety centres in other border provinces to ensure disaster management systems are effectively assisting those forced to flee their homes.
