Cambodian NA President Presents Condolences and Sympathy to Canada over Severe Flooding

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, has extended her condolences to her Canadian counterpart over the current natural disasters affecting western Canada.
“I am deeply grieved by the news about the current natural disasters of severe flooding. debris and the risk of avalanches in western Canada, which caused the displacement of thousands of families, enormous devastation of properties and closure of major highways to Vancouver,” she wrote on Monday to Honourable Francis Scarpaleggia, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada.
“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own, I wish to express my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Honourable Speaker, and through you, to the victims of the families severely affected by this natural disaster,” she added.
Samdech Khuon Sudary underlined that Cambodia stand in solidarity with the Canadian people and government during this difficult time, and wishes all the victims and affected communities a swift recovery and resumption of normal life.
