Thailand’s Aggressive Military Operations Kill One More Cambodian Civilian

Thailand’s aggressive military attacks on Cambodia’s territorial integrity have killed one more civilian, according to H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information.
“The number of civilians killed by Thailand’s armed aggression has now risen to 12,” he said this morning.
In addition, the Minister reported that 74 civilians have been injured, while the number of displaced people has increased to more than 400,000.
Meanwhile, H.E. Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence, stated that while some battlefields along the border have become relatively calm, Thai forces have intensified their aggressive and indiscriminate attacks in other areas.
She underlined that Cambodian forces continue to stand strong and resolute in fulfilling their duty to defend the nation against Thailand’s invasion and to protect Cambodia’s territorial integrity.
