MISTI, CDRI Sign MoU to Strengthen Research in Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation
AKP Phnom Penh, December 03, 2025 — The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) and the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance joint research, strengthen scientific evidence, and promote knowledge sharing to support MISTI’s strategies, policies, and institutional objectives.
The signing ceremony was presided over by H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, and Dr. Eng Netra, Executive Director of CDRI.
Under the MoU, MISTI and CDRI will collaborate on research and policy studies related to MISTI’s priority sectors within the national, regional, and global context; and promote private-sector investment, said a news release issued by MISTI this evening.
The partnership will also encourage export diversification to drive job creation and productivity; and support the transition toward high-value-added, technology-based manufacturing with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, the source added.
