Cambodia, UK Organise Trade and Investment Opportunities Forum
AKP Phnom Penh, November 26, 2025 --
H.E. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, participated in the Cambodia-UK Trade and Investment Opportunities Forum held on Nov. 25 at Eden Hall of the British High Commission Residence in Singapore.
The forum was presided over by H.E. Dominic Williams, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Ms. Rihannon Harries, Deputy Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, with the participation of numerous representatives from relevant ministries and institutions of Cambodia, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Cambodian Investment Board, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and key private sector representatives.
The forum is aimed to strengthen trade and investment relations between the UK and Cambodia, as well as bring together various Cambodian ministries, development finance institutions, UK and Singapore-based investors, and key Cambodian private sector representatives to explore practical collaboration in support of Cambodia’s sustainable growth agenda.
In his keynote address, H.E. Samheng Bora highlighted the strategy of export promotion and trade competitiveness of Cambodia, as well as the crucial role of the Cambodia-UK Joint Trade and Investment Forum, scheduled to be held earlier next year.
He mentioned the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia in trade diversification under multilateral, regional, and bilateral frameworks, and the enhancement of the business and investment environment.
