Cambodian Labour Minister and New Israeli Ambassador Pledge Stronger Bilateral Cooperation

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the State of Israel have agreed to further strengthen their partnership to promote labour mobility and skills development.
The commitment was made during a meeting on Nov. 25 between H.E. Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia, and H.E. Ms. Alona Fisher-Kamm, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Cambodia.
H.E. Heng Sour warmly welcomed the ambassador and expressed confidence that her diplomatic mission would further enhance the relations between both countries.
He noted that the two countries have long enjoyed positive cooperation, adding that deeper collaboration in labour and skills development would bring meaningful benefits to Cambodian workers and contribute to broader economic growth.
For her part, Ambassador Fisher-Kamm reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation with Cambodia in labour mobility, vocational training, skills enhancement, and workforce protection.
