Cambodia, Poland to Further Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation
AKP Phnom Penh, November 25, 2025 -- Cambodia and Poland organised on Nov. 24 in Poland the Third Session of Bilateral Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries to review existing cooperation and identify new opportunities across various sectors, ensuring the long-standing friendly ties between the two nations.
The meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Chring Botumrangsay, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia (MFAIC), and H.E. Władysław T. Bartoszewski, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
According to the MFAIC, both sides acknowledged the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation of nearly seven decades, which have continued to flourish in various areas as evidenced through the successful convening of bilateral consultations, the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Poland in Phnom Penh, as well as the signing of the agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passport.
They further emphasised the significant role of this bilateral dialogue as a mechanism to expand across-the-board-cooperation between Cambodia and Poland.
The Co-Chairs reviewed with satisfaction the ongoing cooperation and identified further opportunities in key areas such as trade and investment, health, tourism, education, agriculture and agro-industry, culture, digitalisation, people-to-people exchange, and parliamentary cooperation.
At the same time, the Secretary of State expressed Cambodia’s deepest gratitude to the Government of Poland’s continued support in human resource development through various scholarship programmes.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, including the Cambodia-Thailand border situation, and reiterated their shared commitment to peace, stability, and respect for international law. They also discussed the mutual supports for their respective candidatures for various positions in international organisations.
