Installation of Temporary Border Makers between Posts No. 52-59 Reaches 95%
AKP Phnom Penh, November 24, 2025 —
The Joint Survey Team of Cambodia and Thailand has installed 158 out of 166 temporary border markers between Posts No. 52 and No. 59, achieving approximately 95 percent completion.
The markers were placed along the boundary in Kamrieng district, Battambang province, bordering Thailand’s Chanthaburi province. The joint field operation was conducted from Nov. 8 to 24, 2025, according to the State Secretariat of Border Affairs.
Both sides expect to complete the work on Nov. 25, 2025.
Under the agreed plan, Cambodia and Thailand will continue aerial photography using drones along the section of the border line between Posts No. 52 and No. 59 from Nov. 27, 2025 onward.
