Footwear Manufacturers for Famous Brands to Help Promote Cambodia’s Tourism Potential
AKP Phnom Penh, November 24, 2025 --
A network of footwear manufacturers producing for world-renowned brands such as Armani, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and Versace has pledged to help promote Cambodia’s tourism potential to their global buyers.
The commitment was made by Mr. Joseph Lin, President of HQ Footwear (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., during a courtesy call on H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, at the ministry on Nov. 23.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the meeting was productive and forward-looking. The company expressed its intention to actively contribute to promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential and investment opportunities – highlighting peace, political stability, good public order, development across all sectors, and the Royal Government’s mechanisms to support and guarantee investors – to its investment network in China and worldwide, particularly to its buyers.
H.E. HUOT Hak welcomed the initiative with deep appreciation and encouraged further cooperation. He requested the company’s assistance in disseminating factual information about Cambodia and invited them to consider organising regular staff and leadership vacations in the Kingdom.
He also proposed arranging buyers’ trips to Cambodia so they can better understand the country’s real situation, its progress in various sectors, its rich tourism potential, and the warm hospitality of the Cambodian people.
