Austrian Ambassador Bids Acting Foreign Minister Farewell

H.E. Mrs. Eat Sophea, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received H.E. Wihelm Maximilian Donko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Kingdom of Cambodia, with residence in Bangkok, for a farewell call at the Ministry on Nov. 17.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the farewell meeting, the Acting Minister thanked Ambassador Donko for his contributions to strengthening Cambodia-Austria ties and expressed appreciation to Austria for supporting Cambodia in demining and human resources development. She exchanged views with the Austrian Ambassador on ways to further expand cooperation between Cambodia and Austria, both in bilateral and multilateral spheres.
They also touched on promoting trade and investment between the two countries. Ambassador Donko applauded the progress achieved by Cambodia in recent years.
H.E. Mrs. Eat Sophea briefed H.E. Ambassador Donko on the latest developments along the Cambodia–Thailand border, especially regarding the implementation of the Joint Declaration signed by the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand on Oct. 26, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.
